I hope you all had a very merry Christmas! I can't wait to see you all in 2014, which is going to be an amazing year! As you can see, Brodie was SO excited on Christmas ; )
Once again Mrs. Wolff was too incredibly sweet and thoughtful and her and her class sent us a box of holiday goodies! My kids thought they were awesome!!! Thank you so much for your sweet generosity and thoughtfulness! Happy Holidays! Not sure how it got started or brought about BUT some of my kiddos thought it would be so cool if I took pictures (some silly) with them....so this is the outcome! Love them! He just keeps poppin' up everywhere this week. While Mr. Beau Jingles was resting in his "bubble bath" our class got to watch Rudolph with the other 3rd grade classes to then compare and contrast to the story we read earlier this week. Of course they loved it! Our 3rd graders did such an amazing job on their musical yesterday! I absolutely loved seeing them on stage singing their hearts out! Also, thank you to all the parents who attended as well as watched the live stream! We sure have loved having Mr. Beau Jingle around these last few days! The kids love coming into the classroom each day and seeing where he's moved to. Today he left us a note telling us about the gingerbread man that chased him and took Ms. Bonnet's boa and tied him up! We can't wait t see where he shows up next! Our class has been asking ever since we got back from Thanksgiving break if we had an Elf On a Shelf in our classroom. Well he never showed up so yesterday I told them maybe we should use our writing time to write Santa a letter asking him if we could have one, why, and how we would care for him. Here was my letter to Santa from our class yesterday. Apparently our letters worked! When I showed up to work today our newest class member was hiding in our tree, had written a letter back to us, and left a book about him for us to read! Please welcome Mr. Beau Jingle to our class! Mr. Jingle left specific instructions that we need to follow and let us know he will be reporting back to Santa nightly about our class behavior! I hope we can show Mr. Jingle and Santa how awesome we can be! I hope everyone is staying warm this weekend! Ms. Bonnet is being silly and out in this crazy weather taking pictures! Don't forget to dress nice and warm next week! The kids absolutely LOVED seeing our class Christmas tree was up. I took a video of them walking in, however the site wouldn't let me posT it. It is however posted on our class Facebook pageBig you'd like to see it! Thier faces were absolutely priceless! Here is a picture of our tree. We can't wait to spread the joy of giving this holiday season! Welcome back 3rd grade! Even though I loved having a thanksgiving break and spending time with my family and friends, I am so happy we are back! I missed every single one of you and hope you each had a wonderful holiday break. Now we can look forward to the Christmas holiday, my favorite season, and enjoy time with our classmates and school friends. Please remember this is the season of giving and our class will be doing just that! As always, please feel free to contact me if you ever any concerns or questions. |
